A mid-century ranch home in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix received a complete interior renovation and the addition of a new outdoor covered patio for entertaining.  Our client’s home had many additions over the years but did not function well for their lifestyle and entertaining needs.  We worked with them to remodel many areas of the home and re-configure and expand the kitchen to include a new vaulted ceiling which continues outside to a new covered patio through new 20-foot-wide sliding doors.  The new covered patio includes an outdoor kitchen with B.B.Q. and smoker to address their cooking and entertaining needs.  We wanted to open as much of the home’s interior to the rear yard to also capture the views of Camelback Mountain to the North.  Residential renovations and additions make up the bulk of our work at PINNELLA I KAHNG architecture studio.  We love the demanding challenge of this type of architectural work and enjoy the hidden opportunities we uncover and bring to our clients.
